Meet Sarah and Trevor and Bella, too! We met at the lovely Elk Meadow Open Space park up in Evergreen – one of my favorite places to shoot! The weather was perfect, the lighting sublime and we had a great evening laughing and taking photos!
Enjoy!
Meet Tamra and Matt! What a wedding! The energy and love that surrounded Tamra and Matt was incredible!
Enjoy!
Venue: Crooked Willow Farms Coordinator: Nicole with Table 6 Productions Florist: Newberry Brothers Stylist: Kori Schell
Meet Katie and Matt! Katie and I hit it off right away when we met – she told me a hilarious story about how she used to be a Jazzercise instructor and upon the first time meeting his family, Matt asked her to teach a Jazzercise class to his whole family! How cute is that?
Garden of the Gods Club has the most amazing view, it’s easily one of the most beautiful views a venue could have! Stacy of Alexan Events expertly designed and coordinated the wedding and, truth-be-told, designed one of the most interesting salad bars we have ever seen! During the reception, the band never took a break and everyone literally was dancing right up until Katie and Matt departed! What a day of celebration!
Enjoy!
Meet Sylwia and James! I just can’t tell you enough about how adorable they are – individually and together! Sylwia shared with me that she would be about 6 months pregnant by the time her wedding day rolled around and that inside of their wedding cake, the baby’s sex would be revealed when they cut the cake! How is that for a surprise! You could feel the anticipation throughout the day! I think Sylwia had an inkling on sex, though – since she chose a wonderful bright fushia color for her wedding colors! Call it mother’s intuition?
Not a dry eye in the house as the cake was cut and the baby’s sex was revealed (a GIRL)! After the cake cutting, James said to me that THAT EXACT MOMENT when they learned the sex of the baby was the most exciting and memorable moment of his life!
Enjoy!
Meet Mary and Dan!
Mary loves horses and all animals and Dan is an avid outdoorsman! It’s easy to see that they are made for each other! The perfect setting for their wedding was Crooked Willow Farms, with rolling hills as an amazing back drop, surrounded by the things they love (two footed and four footed alike)! Mary’s Mom had the family bible on hand and also the veil she wore at her own wedding. It was family tradition to pose by the 1941 Packard Ambulance that has been in the family for many years!
Enjoy!
Meet Karin and Jarred! They planned an intimate wedding at one of our favorite locations – the Broadmoor. It was awesome to capture Jarred winking at Karin during the ceremony and everyone on the altar had a good chuckle when the officiant pointed out that Karin had placed Jarred’s wedding band on the wrong hand!
Enjoy!
It’s just not wedding photography – it’s documenting the people that you LOVE!
We received a great email from the Mother of the Bride from a wedding we did back in May. It reads “Paige, you took many wonderful pictures during Lindsey and Mike’s wedding, but you especially captured a great picture of my mother prior to the ceremony. My mother was a real trooper by traveling hundreds of miles to attend her granddaughter’s wedding. She is a special dear to Lindsey and our family. We are looking forward to helping her celebrate her 100th birthday and we used the picture for the invitations to her birthday party, newspaper announcements and have even sent the photo to the Today show so Willard Scott will hopefully annouce her birthday during the show. We have received so many great compliments on the picture. This is such a great milestone to celebrate with her – and thank you for capturing her for the occasion.”
LOVE!
Next to Beano’s Cabin, Fetcher Barn in Steamboat Springs has to be one of my all time favorite venues to photograph!
Carrie and Rob’s wedding was a grand affair! I loved the story about how they met – hiking on the trail to Maroon Belles. Their rings were custom made showing the mountain (his) and the lake below (hers). So romantic!!! Enjoy!
ps….Note to self: must do more hiking!
What does Fall, sake bombs, a fuzzy wedding crasher, cigars and Neil Diamond have in common? Well, for one thing – the Gray Wedding! The reception involved sake bombs and my brilliant second shooter, Mark Woolcott, photographed a really fun “drinking” series…Just check out the photos….I know you will feel the love after viewing this wedding! Enjoy!
